John, thank you for your reply. In Japan, Duanwu Festival has another name, which is Iris' Festival. It's because we Japanese soak Iris' bath, and eat Zongzih to avoid bad things. Also, we eat not only Zhongzih and Kashiwamochi but also the sweets which were imagined Iris.

ReplyDeleteTo Thomas: In Japan, Duanwu Festival is held on May, so it is not in winter. But Soaking in a hot spring in winter is so pleasant, right?
