I would like to write about Gohei-rice cake. Gohei-rice cake is a kind of rice cake and this local food was born from Gifu prefecture in the center of Japan. It looks like sandal and flavored with Miso (salty soy bean paste). This food has been cooking since 18 century.
During Edo period, this food was sacred food, but nowadays, you can buy fastfood shop at highway.
